The Posada de las Cigüeñas is part of the old Convent of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación dating from the 16th century, later, and possibly as a consequence of the Confiscation of Mendizábal, its use must be dedicated to a mill or press, since buried cones were preserved below ground level and a grinding stone in the adjoining room. These cones are currently in the patio of said Convent for decorative purposes, as well as the endless wood from the aforementioned mill.
